[Feature] Upload/backup directly from mobile to target album on server

The feature

I would like to be able to tell Immich "Future Uploads go to Album XX". Possibly limited to a certain folder on the mobile device.

When using Nextcloud, I can tell it to upload a certain folder to a certain target on the server. This can nicely be used to have a folder, say "Vac2025" and on Start of Vacation you tell it that all Camera pictures are now synced to "Vac2025". Share that with whoever, and they can see your vacation pics without you manually needing to adjust any tag, sharing or whatever.
It also is an automatic "tag" of all pics you took during Vacation.

Would be nice if we could do similar in Immich.

How does that make "All future uploads go to album" automatically?

This means I need to manually put things into an album. I would like it to go there automatically.

You're looking for the "Sync albums" toggle from the app's backup settings.

Sync albums will create/sync a source folder to an album with the name of said folder. What @Ganneff wants (and I concur) is the ability to have the choice of naming the remote album.
