Share Locked Folder or similar

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Are there any plans to implement either the ability to share the locked folder, or to enable locking a shared album? Honestly, a locked, shared album would be preferrable since both members could add and see all photos just like any other shared album, but it would remain locked and out of the main timeline view.

Sharing a locked folder would defeat the point of it, no? We have no plans to add that.

Ok, so hear me out. I think some variation of the following situation may be more common than you think.

I've switched my family's photos over to Immich from Google Photos. Let's say, hypothetically speaking, my wife and I may at times choose to share some photos with each other that we would not want others (especially our kids) to stumble across on our devices, especially with partner sharing enabled.

A locked shared album is the perfect solution to this type of thing. Both parties could add photos, knowing they are protected on both ends.

@bo0tzz I just wanted to know if you had any thoughts on the explanation for my suggestion above. Even just a "show in timeline" toggle for albums would be nice.

Basically shared albums that are private in such a way that it replicates locked folder functionality in that the photos added don't appear in the timeline but still allow multiple people to access, can think of a variety of use cases for this

Another approach could be allowing images in a locked folder to be added to albums so they can be seen in the album or the locked folder but don't appear in the general timeline or search, though would be nice to hide some albums from the default album view
