I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
Summary:
It would be very helpful to have an option to exclude specific folders (e.g. the "Screenshots" folder from Android) from the main timeline ("Library" or home feed), while still uploading and organizing them as albums.
Use Case:
Many users upload multiple folders from their phone to Immich (e.g. Camera, WhatsApp Images, Downloads, Screenshots). Some folders like "Screenshots" contain useful reference images or temporary content that should be backed up, but are not meaningful for the main photo library timeline.
Currently, all uploaded media — regardless of folder or album — shows up in the main timeline view, which can clutter the experience.
