Not exactly a duplicate. A split view is not the same as loading larger versions of the image in the existing view to make better use of the available space. |

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
I'm really happy we have the image dedpulication feature, but the image previews currently use only a small fraction of the available screen space (on my 1440p monitor, roughly 4-5% when looking at the available "area"):
This makes it difficult to spot small differences between similar photos. While it's possible to use the zoom function, the switching back and forth slows down the deduplication and can make it a bit tedious.
It would be a big improvement if the deduplication view could display larger preview images, better utilizing the available screen real estate. I know that with many duplicates, this might need to be dynamic, but most of the time I'm just comparing two images, and having them larger side-by-side would make a big difference.
Bonus Feature:
It would be nice to have an option to zoom all images in a comparison to 100%, with synchronized pan/scroll between them. This would make it much easier to inspect fine details without losing context.
