[Feature] satellite map

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

It would be great to have a satellite map. It would be really useful in rural and nature areas where not all roads are visible or recognizable on the standard map

The current map tile service is vector-based, which makes it feasible for us to offer it for free & by default. That's not possible with satellite imagery. If you want that, you can sign up for a service that offers them and configure a custom map style in Immich. See https://immich.app/docs/guides/custom-map-styles for an example.
