I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.
The bug
I have a scenario where by I do not want to upload all my acreenshots from an iPhone and therefore have excluded screenshots in the upload options.
However, some screenshots have been added to albums such as 'home ideas' where I want to upload these to Immich to share with family. I have then selected the 'home ideas' folder in immich to be explicitly uploaded.
The problem is that immich is not uploading some photos from this album as their overaching folder is the screenshots folder which are not uploaded.
On android you can get around this by moving the image from the screenshots folder to the folder to be uploaded, but there is no way to do this on apple.
Maybe a way to fix this would be to have albums explicitly marked to upload as a priority and override an option to exclude them if also included in an 'excluded' album.
