[Feature] Sorting for folder view

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Searched DC GH and Google didnt find anything.

I would love to have the option to view external libarys in a sortable list view.
Actual it is an unsorted thumbnail view which is a pain to use and find stuff.
On the mobile app its sortable by A-Z or Z-A which is way better, dont know why the web version dont get this. sort by file/fodler size, by number of media files in folders, date etc.

Would love to see this implemented and wood be a big step in finding stuff in well organized external libarys 😊

i vibe coded an example implementation, i dont want to open a pr because im not an coder and cant response for the code, i cant tell if its good or bad or if its the right way, i just can say that it worked with the make dev env.

sry but this is not a dup at all.
The bug you mentioned is just that the default view is not sorted anymore.

I made a complete new view (List) with complete new Propertys you can sort by (Size, Item Count, Last modified Date)

EDIT: and i made a complete implementation of it too
