[Feature] Duplicates in timeline

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Opening the duplicates gives an overwhelming, endless stream (I have an example with 18k).

Maybe show duplicates beside each other in the timeline, in a coloured (green?) box. With 2 photos, my imagination places a round <|> icon in between them, slightly on the images, looking like a comparison slider.

You're talking about the deduplication utility, right? It can have more than two duplicate images shown at a time, so a timeline with a left/right comparison wouldn't work for that.
