Workflow for curating a library for others to view only

I guess this is closely related to sharing/partner sharing, which I see is an area being worked on a lot. I'm interested in seeing if people are doing something similar and how with current features, or if a solution is around the corner.

I'm the archivist for an association, and I would like to curate their photos and make those available to them properly tagged, faces already recognized, etc. Basically, I'd like to give them a user they could log in to view everything, minus any ability to edit things.

I haven't really messed yet with things like a read-only fs, database or so. A solution that were server-wide would be OK too (i.e., the tweaking can be at any level, not just through Immich built-in features).
