[Feature] Object searching with threshold

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Free text searching for ML based object discoveries seems to work like a sort rather than search. I always get all results no matter what I search for, but sorted after likeliness. I'd like to have a configurable threshold level to filter out results.

This might be a duplicate, but I have tried finding a thread without luck. Also, it could very well be me doing it wrong. Sorry if any case applies!

This would allow sorting search results by other criteria like date (#8377)

This has been requested/discussed in various places over the years, but setting a threshold/cutoff isn't really feasible. The discussion under #8377 (comment) lays it out best.
