Custom upload base thumbnail

Hello, I would like to propose new feature: Manually upload image as thumbnail. Sometimes, I can not generate video thumbnail, I see a lot of bug trace like color scheme error, etc and of course, for browser video is correct, but I see error thumbnail. Please help.
