Shared link API behaviour - missing assets?

When I share a) single photo or b) group of photos (not an album), the API call using that key or slug returns the details of each asset shared.

But if I share an album with photos and videos, the API call returns information about that album but not the assets - am I missing something, is a 2nd API call required or is this a bug?

API calls being used: /api/shared-links/me?slug=test and /api/shared-links/me?key=3is0LyZxR...FN4Mw
