I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
Those who still use Google Photos in parallel should have been noticed that G.Photos app automatically stack "neighbour" photos (made within small time interval and looks like a set of multiple shots) and choose the "Top pick" one as a thumbnail.
Yes, Immich has the dedupllication feature, but you don't always want to go through a ton of photos and remove/stack duplicates manually.
Stacking is a relatively safe feature since you don't delete photos, just stack them together and it can be unstack manually later.
It would safe a lot of space on the timeline for people like me who I very bad in shooting photos and every time just making a 10 photos in a minute 😅
