Relations not auto-curated

Hello,

a relation between 2 spans is referenced in annotation export files but not in curated exports.
Annotations were accepted by curator.
Curator = single annotator, so no merging conflicts possible.

Can you describe step-by-step how to reproduce the problem from a fresh project?

Hello,
yes,

• open inception 38.3
• chose new project
• chose basic annotation (default project)
• import a text file
• go to settings/tagsets/Span labels
• create 2 tags: tag_1, tag_2
• go to settings/tagsets/Relation labels
• create tag: connected
• go to Layers change Overlap from Overlap only to None
• Go to Annotation section annotate one word with tag_1, a second one tag_2
• create relation and annotate as connected
• label as finished
• export annotations as WebAnno TSV v3.3 (easier to see the connection)
• go to Curation
• accept annotations
• export annotations in Curation view or in Settings/Export/Export curated documents (as WebAnno TSV v3.3)

Compare the 2 exports, annotator export includes relation, curator output not

Thanks for the description.

So I tried this and if I "accept annotations" in Curation - including manually accepting the relation - then the relation is there in the TSV when I export it from the curation page.

However, when I access the curation page the first time or when I do a re-merge of the file, for some reason the relation is not auto-merged. It should be auto-merged because there is no conflict. So maybe that is the issue you are hitting?

Btw. good catch. I think fixing the auto-curation for relations should resolve your issue. PR incoming and new release soon after.
