Need more examples on how to actually use the deferred props in react

import { Deferred } from '@inertiajs/react'

export default () => (
    <Deferred data="permissions" fallback={<div>Loading...</div>}>
        <PermissionsChildComponent />
    </Deferred>
)

Using the above example from docs does not help and I get errors everytime I try to use the prop inside the component.

So some more examples with usage of the props might help.
