hot-reloading `telegraf.conf` via env in Docker YAML

when I change telegraf.conf, would be nice if telegraf container could automatically run the new config without me having to restart the telegraf container. This should be configurable via an env in docker YAML file

Telegraf already support specifying custom arguments by overriding the CMD (see the entrypoint script). So

# docker run telegraf --watch-config=poll

should already provide you with what you need... Why do we need an additional env-variable?

because I run the container via YAML rather than via CLI

So then override the CMD via your YAML!

We can't add an environment variable per command line option as it is redundant, i.e. what if the user specifies a CMD option contradicting the environment variable, and not maintainable!
