Headless mode (no GUI)

I was thinking to add a setting option where you could start the VM either with GUI or without GUI / in headless mode (e.g. when you are using screen sharing).
What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea, however I do think it may require significant architectural changes, since right now a lot of the VM lifecycle is directly tied to the app's UI. Feel free to PR that and we can work on it together.

Certainly. I've made some changes in #326 that begin to unravel the architectural issues mentioned above, so we're getting closer to this being achievable.
