Just installed v2.1 and am getting blank vm thumbnails. I see there have been changes to vm thumbnails in this release but I'm not even getting default blurred images. Opening and then closing the VM doesn't updated the thumbnail image. How do I get the desktop images back? |

Sorry about that, but due to numerous issues with VM thumbnails this version had to reset them. I understand they may not have affected your library, but this was the only viable workaround (resetting them). I believe the default wallpaper thumbnails are only presented when installed using 2.1 or later, as the previous versions of VirtualBuddy didn't "know" which OS version was being installed. I have plans to significantly revamp thumbnailing within the next couple of releases, including the option to use custom images.
I'm not aware of any changes that may have caused this, and I haven't experienced it myself. Please let me know which host OS and hardware you're running and if there's any pattern to the sluggishness, or any steps I could use to reproduce. |

After install v2.1 I created a new virtual machine (macOS Tahoe on Tahoe host), started the guest app and set the wallpaper for the VM. Is the expected behaviour to see a blurred version of the VMs wallpaper as a thumbnail on newly created VM's in 2.1? I was expecting to see my old VM with no thumbnail and the new VM with the blurred thumbnail, however I'm seeing no thumbnail on both VMs/ |

Thanks for your reply. The VM not sluggishness and shutting down seems to have resolved itself after a macbook reboot. |
