Description
Summary
Setting up a new quiz with "display grade as: Complete/Incomplete" will report MAX/MAX points in the grade view.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a new quiz with "Display grade as: Complete/Incomplete"
- Attempt the quiz and answer at least one question correct
- Open the gradebook
- The gradebook displays one column as 100% and another as MAX/MAX points
Expected behavior
The points overview should still report the actual points instead of setting the maximum points for an attempt.
There is still a column showing percentage complete (as 100%) as far as I can see.
Additional notes
There is currently no way to set a minimum required score in New Quizzes, so this has to be done through modules for automatic grading.
One might accidentally set up the quiz using complete/incomplete (when it should be points).
The gradebook will then show misleading scores for anyone who has attempted the quiz and score at least one point.
This may be intended behaviour, but it seems that it shouldn't show points at all in the gradebook when using complete/incomplete to avoid confusion.
