Can margo be the local server of static.crates.io?🥺

cargo add wasm-pack will do 3 things:

1. GET https://index.crates.io/config.json

  "dl": "https://static.crates.io/crates",
  "api": "https://crates.io"
}

2. GET https://index.crates.io/wa/sm/wasm-pack , get another json file that contains all wasm-pack versions
3. GET https://static.crates.io/crates/wasm-pack/0.13.1/download

However, I want to use margo as a local server of static.crates.io, the file accessible at http://127.0.0.1:8000/crates/wa/sm/wasm-pack/0.13.1.crate
but cargo try to visit http://127.0.0.1:8000/crates/wasm-pack/0.13.1/download and return 404

How to write the .cargo/config.toml in this case? Your help is appreciated 🥺

It sounds like you are asking how to mirror a crate from crates.io into a Margo registry. If so, can you try these instructions? If that works, I should add it to the Margo README.
