Not seeing the Copilot window

I've followed the install instructions but am not seeing the Copilot window. Any suggestions?

I went through the instructions, including connecting the app to my (newly made) GitHub copilot account.
I have the Copilot app and Xcode both running. I do see the steering wheel menu item.
I am using Xcode 14.2, macOS X Ventura 13.3.

As far as I can tell, the only change in Xcode is that in the editor there is a new button in the lower right (maybe associated with Accessibility; I'm not sure). Clicking the button doesn't seem to do anything.

After a lot more reading and digging around, I found the Copilot menu items under Xcode > Editor Copilot, and I managed to see the window after trying the Chat with Selection option.
