EAN Code in Parts Details

Hello

I would like to store the EAN barcode for my products. But this should be displayed in the details of the parts. With the parts details I mean the table next to the product image where the name, IPN, description is inside. If I search for a product or scan with the external scanner then I should also be able to scan the EAN code.

In the best case, I can already use the EAN code when entering a part, even better would be a connection that picks up the details of the EAN product.

Is there anything there? Can I get custom field up there?

@Grischabock we support custom barcodes being assigned to parts, have you tried this already?

@SchrodingersGat Thank you for your feedback. I saw that, but I have two problems with it or I misunderstand it. On the one hand, if I scan a barcode / QR code behind which the IPN is registered, I get an error that the product was not found. But I have created this part, it is booked in stock with this IPN but it is not found. If I want to deposit an EAN code for a product, then I can only do that to a limited extent, right? I can make a barcode with every product link but I don't see this barcode in the detail page where I would like to see it. In addition, it is an extended step in the recording, I would actually like to be able to specify the EAN (European Article Number) directly when entering a new part / article. Maybe I'm getting it wrong and that's already possible, sorry if that's the case. Thank you for your support.
