Building a product with barcodes - how can I allocate parts to a build order by scanning them as I build?

I'm sorry if this is covered somewhere, but I have spent a bunch of time trying to figure it out and am stumped!

I have a box of parts in their baggies with barcodes from Mouser or Digikey. I have received these against purchase orders by scanning the barcodes with the app.

I have a PCB, with a serial number and a validated BOM. I would like to pull a baggie out of the box, scan the barcode on it, and have that part allocated to the SN I'm working on. Ideally, it would also deduct the right quantity of parts from that bag, and maybe even pop up the reference designator (R_12, for an example resistor).

Is this possible somehow? Is there a similar workflow, or some other way I'm overlooking for this?
