How to Enable the New Platform UI After Upgrading to InvenTree 1.0?

I updated InvenTree from version 0.17 to 1.0 but still see the old UI after the upgrade. Should the new Platform UI be enabled automatically? Or should I use the development installation still: https://docs.inventree.org/en/stable/develop/react-frontend/ ? What is the recommended procedure to activate the new UI in a production setup?

You should not be able to see the old UI after the update - that indicates that the upgrade has not actually been successfully completed.

Docker, the skipping frontend update appears when running
docker compose run --rm inventree-server invoke update

are you sure your inventree instance (not the plugins) is running 1.0? You can check in the "About InvenTree" dialog
