mass identify difference in stock items

So we have a scenario where we input stock under a part for plants.
Some of the stock will be incoming say sizeA some will be incoming as sizeB. Both of these items will eventually be subject to tests under tests templates but in the meantime we'd like to know how many of sizeA and sizeB we have etc.

I am having hard time figuring out how to do that, other than going into each item and doing a test which will then assign a pass/fail under a preset size.
Is there a way to do this without going in individually, say can i apply a test and submit result for a given number of stock?

Yes, that sounds like what we are looking for. How do those issues get worked on or prioritized?

Generally, if someone wants a custom feature like this to be accelerated, the options come down to:

1. Implement the new feature themselves (with input from the dev team if need be) and contribute it to the project
2. Provide financial sponsorship for one of the devs to assign time to it
