Automated status update when initiating stock transfer?

Hello, first time here and still learning my way around Inventree. Very excited to get it up and running properly and get away from sheets tracking.

I am looking for a way to tell InvenTree to automatically update the status of a stock item. For instance, creating an "in transit" status for stock items that are being shipped to a different location. Is there another way to track this that can be automated when initiating a stock transfer, perhaps tags?

You can link actions like a stock transfer to a custom action using the plugins interface. This would require a custom (but very simple) plugin to meet your requirements
