app:checkReleaseAarMetadata FAILED with release build

Hi, Whenever I am trying to build a release signed app I am getting below error:

> Task :app:checkReleaseAarMetadata FAILED

FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

* What went wrong:
Execution failed for task ':app:checkReleaseAarMetadata'.
> A failure occurred while executing com.android.build.gradle.internal.tasks.CheckAarMetadataWorkAction
   > /Users/fullmad/Apps/Reyna/node_modules/@react-native-firebase/app/android/build/intermediates/aar_metadata/release/aar-metadata.properties (No such file or directory)

However when I build a debug app, it builds without any error.

Please help me to solve the issue..

React Native Version: 0.64

After upgrading gradle version, it worked fine
