Is it worth adding or modifying a Rule limiting the number of files or line length limit as to the number of include files that can be specified for CINCLUDE? Or is it too early?

I think it would be a great idea. The same for -CDEFINE: either in bytes or in number of macros. Preferably bytes.

But an issue comes up here, one I can think of for each.

For -CINCLUDE: we have one-liners which need them and what if it's something clever that actually needs more include files?

For -CDEFINE: some entries (two of mine in fact ... no wait .. more than two, at least three) use CDEFINE for configuration. And others do too. This is really useful. For instance 2020/ferguson1 allows you to change the colours which is for users.

Now that does not mean that one should be able to abuse -CDEFINE but it does mean that it's probably not a single value that fits all.

Those questions should certainly be considered.
