Can allowNavigation be used in production?

Hello,

According to the Capacitor config documentation, the allowNavigation is not intended for production usage .

I would like to know what are the reasons behind this decision?
I understand that loading an external website in the same webview can be dangerous but what about loading its own Webapp?

We have several web applications that can be launched from the Capacitor app in the same webview and we would like to share the capacitor plugins between the Webapps.
