How to download properly a file url, and support all environments ?

=> I want to allow my users to download a file, which has an amazon S3 pre-signed url.

• Capacitor FileSystem API is only usable on Android / iOS, moreover the documentation (https://capacitorjs.com/docs/apis/filesystem) doesn't show a simple example that allows the user to choose the destination of the download.
• For desktop and mobile web browsers, tools like https://www.npmjs.com/package/file-saver can be used, but would be wonderfull to directly use Capacitor API.

Do we have to manage the two behaviors, or is there a smart way to achieve a simple file download from url, on all devices ?
