Alternative for Music Controls

Hi.
I have looked around and tried a lot of different plugins to replace the Music Controls plugin in Capacitor for use on iOS and Android.
Did anybody find a solution to be able to show a media notification to control media?
Is the capacitor team or anyone else working on a solution, or is it simple not possible to use Capacitor 3 if this is an app requirement?
