Trying to import CapacitorHttp with a simple html ios app and cant get it to work :-( #6643

Hi guys,

I have been attempting to make CapacitorHttp import work and resorted to restarting all with a simple one page html app as per below:

    <head>
        <style>
            body {
                background-color : #242444;
                color : #f5f5f5;
                font-family : arial;
                text-align : center;
                margin-top: 400px;
            }
        </style>
    </head>
    <body>
        <h1>Hello, Capacitor!</h1>
        <script type="module">
            import {CapacitorHttp} from '@capacitor/core';
            setTimeout(function(){

                console.log('settimeout runs')
            },8000)

        </script>
    </body>
</html>

If I comment out the import line, the console.log() message runs fine, however adding import and I cant get it to work, Im not sure what I am doing wrong. My capacitor.config.json is as follows:

  "appName": "App",
  "webDir": "www",
  "plugins": {
    "CapacitorHttp": {
      "enabled": true
    }
  },
  "server": {
    "androidScheme": "https"
  }
}

Can anybody give me any pointers as to why adding the import does not allow the settimeout to run?
