problem with status bar on latest Android

anybody have any luck getting "overlaysWebView": false to work on latest Android?

i tried adding

    <application
        android:windowOptOutEdgeToEdgeEnforcement="true"

in my AndroidManifest.xml but it doesn't seem to have any effect

check the adjustMarginsForEdgeToEdge configuration

Also, the android:windowOptOutEdgeToEdgeEnforcement="true" doesn't got in the AndroidManifest.xml, but inside styles.xml

thanks @jcesarmobile it looks like following does shift the app downward so that's good

"android": {
    "adjustMarginsForEdgeToEdge": "auto"
  },

however now the status bar is white with white text.

i tried using StatusBar plugin but that doesn't seem to have any effect:

"StatusBar": {
      "overlaysWebView": false,
      "style": "DARK",
      "backgroundColor": "#000000"
    }

any suggestions? ideally i would like dark bar with white text

Were you able to find any solution for the color of Status Bar?
