Improve documentation experience related to user support #1469

A discussion recently came up around ways the docs could help direct users needing IPFS tech-specific support (i.e. dev things, troubleshooting) away from the ipfs-docs GH issues (not the best place to handle this type of support need). Ideas discussed:

  • rearrange some copy / add some copy into the docs to clarify that general support issues are more easily /quickly remedied in the forum
  • Tweak the welcome bot copy a bit to clarify that GH issues opened in this repo should be for a docs things, and general support questions should ideally be redirected to
  • Might help to add a Support subsection somewhere (maybe rewrite https://docs.ipfs.tech/community/) with some clarification on all of this
  • Direct users to https://discuss.ipfs.tech/c/help/13
  • Consolidate help and support pages like https://ipfs.tech/help/

Seems to be a general consensus that this could help
