go-ipfs builds/distributions use the same and latest Go version #8500
Description
We have historically (e.g., v0.9) been bitten by different versions of Go being used in the Docker containers, snap builder, ipfs/distributions, etc.
The goals of this issue are:
- Enable us to set the go version one place and for it to be used "everywhere" go-ipfs is built.
- Update us to the latest Go version.
