gnuplot error libQt5Core.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Hi,

I get this error midway through the QC pipeline:

singularity exec clockwork_v0.11.2.img gnuplot work/db/92b468c299f88b7834a8461efb75b2/samtools_qc/samtools_qc.plot-quals.gp
/usr/bin/gnuplot: error while loading shared libraries: libQt5Core.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

singularity exec clockwork_v0.11.2.img whereis libQt5Core.so.5
libQt5Core.so: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Core.so.5

Any ideas?

By looking online I was able to resolve this issue by adding the following line to Singularity.def and rebuilding the container:

strip --remove-section=.note.ABI-tag /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Core.so.5
