Requesting an "Update Once" action in the color selection per availability options.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to be able to have "available" status to turn off the light once and then do nothing until the next availability change.
This allows the light to be used for other things when a "Busy" status does not need to be shown rather than controlling it the entire business day.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I haven't got any alternatives.

Additional context
My use case is a hallway light.
Rather than having a dedicated wall mounted status light I need to provide power to, I have a smart bulb in my hallway light fixture.
I'd love to be able to allow normal use of the hallway light and only shift the colors to "red" for statuses where I am busy.
Given the current function the hallway light cannot be used during the work day as my "available" status turns the light off and it will keep turning off even if turned on manually.
I take calls very intermittently so it would be nice to be able to have the light useable between calls for the rest of the house.

So you want the light to be "normal" unless you are Busy? What does "normal" mean? Just a regular white light?

Normal means unadjusted in this case.
Presently, what ever the status is the light is updated on an interval based on that status.

Essentially whem my Teams status transitions away from busy if like it to update the light once (to turn off the red light) and then do nothing.
Right now if I have my "available" status set to turn off the light it is kept off. if someone uses the light switch in my hallway it will turn the light on, and then presence light turns it right back off next polling interval.

Instead I'd like it to update the light a single time and then stop updating the light until the next status change. That allows "normal" use of the hall light via the smart wall switch when I'm not in a meeting.
