Properties with spaces fail

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Create a properties file where the key has a space
2.run ant createXLSFile
3.open the XLS sheet. The key will be up to the space. The value is everything 
after the space.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The space is escaped with a backslash. This should be supported.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Linux. Tried inside eclipse as well as stand alone ant.

Please provide any additional information below.

I had a quick look at your code. The reading of the property files can support 
the space (and some other characters) by using the following regexp in the 
org.omnaest.utils.propertyfile.content.parser.PropertyFileContentParser
line 150: patternProperty = 
Pattern.compile("([^\\w]*)([^\\s\\:\\=]+)(\\s*=\\s*|\\s*\\:\\s*|\\s+)(.*[^\\\\]|
[^\\\\]?)(\\\\?)");

replace this with the following pattern:
patternProperty = 
Pattern.compile("([^\\w]*)(([^\\s\\:\\=\\\\]|(\\\\\\s)|(\\\\\\:)|(\\\\\\=))+)(\\
s*=\\s*|\\s*\\:\\s*|\\s+)(.*[^\\\\]|[^\\\\]?)(\\\\?)");

the groups you need to use later on (182-184) must be:
              property.setPrefixBlanks(matcherProperty.group(1));
              property.setKey(matcherProperty.group(2));
              property.setDelimiter(matcherProperty.group(7));
and line 186:
              String value = unescapeJavaStyleIfNecessary(useJavaStyleUnicodeEscaping, matcherProperty.group(8));
