Jupyter-Notebook Kernel dies when running "o3d.web_visualizer.draw()"

I am currently trying to visualize some .las data for a project.
I am working on a laptop (Windows 10) and I am connected to a Linux VM (Ubuntu 22.04.1) via SSH PuTTY.
I am able to open and run a Jupyter Notebook from the VM on my local Chrome Browser with a tunnel created with PuTTY.
However, when I am running "o3d.web_visualizer.draw()" to plot the pointcloud inside the jupyter notebook, the kernel simply dies after a few seconds without any additional information.

When importing the libraries:
import laspy
import open3d as o3d
from open3d.web_visualizer import draw
import numpy as np

I get the following feedback:
Jupyter environment detected. Enabling Open3D WebVisualizer.
[Open3D INFO] WebRTC GUI backend enabled.
[Open3D INFO] WebRTCWindowSystem: HTTP handshake server disabled.
[Open3D INFO] Resetting default logger to print to terminal.

After that I am reading the .las file and creating point data:
las = laspy.read("data.las")
point_data = np.stack([las.X, las.Y, las.Z], axis=0).transpose((1, 0))

Then I create the geometry:
geom = o3d.geometry.PointCloud()
geom.points = o3d.utility.Vector3dVector(point_data)

But when running this codeline, the kernel dies:
o3d.web_visualizer.draw([geom])

A friend of mine is able to run the code, the only difference is that his laptop is running with Linux.

I hope someone can help me as I have no idea why this is happening.

Apparently, the problem was that I enabled X11 forwarding in PuTTY. After I deactivated it, everything went as it should.
