I cant export any .bin files

Every time I try to export a .bin file, I got met with a error that it can't find the file path, and if I try to edit any .flc files, I can't re-inster them because SIEdit can't fild the location of the file.

also please let me know if there's a better image editor than gimp for lego island

Please provide some more information. What operating system are you on? Which .SI file specifically are you opening/trying to edit? What object is failing to export?
