Can't push on OSX. Error: "Error opening HID Manager"

After a recent update to Catalina, getting and error when trying to push:

Error opening HID Manager

Did some digging, and found platformio/platform-teensy#23

teensy_loader_cli has an official release with version 2.1, so I'm not sure what the comment in the issue is referencing. I checked the Homebrew formula for teensy and it's correctly pulling the latest version.
