Missing Gamma parameter

I've recently changed to https://github.com/jtfrey/uvc-util
because two things:
CameraController doesn't query gamma control for my camera, so I can't reproduce what the camera does in automatic mode, but setting everything manual

And from time to time I notice camera controls are all grayed out, so I have to close and reopen CameraController
