Apparently the Mountain Duck process does not have permission to create the folder C:\Users\Administrator\Mountain Duck\8735e026-5cd3-4cd4-bf17-58108c54aa9a which would be set as the sync root for Integrated connect mode of the connection.

Somewhere an UnauthorizedAccessException is escaping, and it's not when creating the folder - that is created using Local.mkdir(), thus a BackgroundException with better stack trace should be logged.

I've just tried on Windows 10 Pro, 21H2 (19044.2846), and I can't reproduce this behavior.
Please provide a screenshot of the advanced security settings for the affected connection folder. You can find the list at C:\Users\Administrator\Mountain Duck.
Alternatively, run the command

Get-Acl "C:\Users\Administrator\Mountain Duck\8735e026-5cd3-4cd4-bf17-58108c54aa9a"

and post the result.
