Better Hinting on Dropdown

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It is not obvious that the "Status" cell is editable without clicking on it. There should be a clear way to intuit that it can be changed.

Describe the solution you'd like
Maybe when the mouse enters the cell, it can trigger a selection of the contents (without the dropdown). Something like this:

When the mouse leaves the cell, it can be unselected.

Alternatively, we can find some other way of hinting at this feature.

This problem was mentioned earlier in a discussion.

The "Execute" cell in the Profile Modify page also suffers from this problem.

Auto selecting the contents might be annoying when you want to modify a profile (maybe you'd accidentally select an incorrect one).

We could also have this selection happen when the row is clicked. Like somehow that column steals the focus.
