Ability to add a class to a table

Our customers often want to be able to use a table to amend layout (e.g. add a couple of columns), but also need to be able to add data tables. If we could add a class to a table then we could style data tables as necessary with borders etc. and make layout tables hidden.

I know this isn't best practice from an accessibility POV but give someone a bard field and they suddenly become designers!

Yeah this would be a nice feature, I've even written the code to do it. Unfortunately there's a bug in Tiptap that prevents the styling from working correctly in the control panel.

As a workround you could use the attributes feature to add a class option for tables:
