project root issue

I tried to use dumb-jump against some older version kernel tarball extracted source code directory, but it seems dumb-jump always only search inside sub-directory instead of real code root directory...I tried to add empty .dumbjump file, no effect. I tried to remove Makefile from dumb-jump-project-root-denoters as suggested by gemini, no effect. I tried to make emacs project manager working fine with this plain kernel source code, but still no effect. In dumb-jump debug message, it still only used sub-directory (e.g kernel/, fs/) as proj-root...

Any suggestion on how to resolve it? Or can dumb-jump be more aligned with emacs project manager in some way? Looks like emacs project is good way to sanitize the project root finding issue, no?

oh, just found there was already a pull to support project, will definitely try it.

When looking at that change, just realized that I can customize the dumb-jump-project variable for my need, which does resolve my issue. But I still think to support emacs project should be better to go, idea?

@zhenyw (@jacktasia) Did you try to create a .dumbjumpignore file in the sub-directories of the project root directory you want to use? When looking for denoters, dumb-jump dumb-jump-get-project-root function identifies the parent directory that is the project root by looking up via locate-dominating-file but also by using dumb-jump-get-config function which checks if there is a .dumbjumpignore file in the directory and skip those to allow locate-dominating-file to move up.
