translation of genes that don't start in phase 0 #1

Hia,
I saw that the translation returned does not use the exon phase information for the translation (as in partially predicted genes starting in non-zero phases, so the first few bp of the translation should belong to the "previous" exon).
I got a crude hack around that, which I can put it on github if you want to have a look if it makes sense to add to the main repo.
... and the activerecord throws deprecation warnings
