500 mW max transmit power?

As in EU 500 mW max transmit power is allowed by law, is there a way to reduce this with little effort?

Yes, there is. The E22-900M30S uses a power amplifier after SX1262 output, so the power you set in firmware is not the power you get at the antenna connector. Setting power to 22 dBm in firmware results in 30 dBm at the antenna connector, which is the maximum for the module. You can of course set a lower value. To get the EU limit of 27 dBm, you should set about 20 dBm in firmware. This can be done in the app, or in the code.
