The original post was just for the amusement of it all, but throughout the adding of the expansion battery I was able to make some observations I wouldn't otherwise have been able to make. The expansion battery resulted in various pieces of my installation (three PW3s, one GW3) being turned off. I just left the proxy running. The primary PW3 continued to take requests even while it was turned off - caught me by surprise. When other PW3s were turned off, I experienced a lot of timeouts - it appeared to me that the primary spent a lot of time working to talk to the rest of my PW cluster to gather data. I just found it interesting that PW <- -> PW conversation delays really hindered the tedapi responses. |
