I have 2 similar devices which I am trying to connect to with tinytuya and they both give me the same error as above while all my other devices work fine. It seems that the socket connection cannot successfully complete the key negotiation. If anyone can help I would appreciate it!!! |

Initially working fine but then stops usually means either a) the local key changed or b) the device does not respond to status requests after a power cycle until after some condition is met (usually it needs a set command, but I'm not sure if any DP can be set on an energy monitor). So, I'd first run the Wizard again to make sure it has the correct local key. If it still isn't working I'd then try |

Hi, I've got a "Smart Meter" device (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/127004481161) that has been working fine for months. Just after I went on holiday it started returning:
{'Error': 'Check device key or version', 'Err': '914', 'Payload': None}
I've tried power cycling it. It shows as Online and reports readings fine in the SmartLife app, but when I look on the Tuya Development Platform it shows as Offline. Running a tinytuya scan finds the device but Polling fails with No Response.
Any ideas?! Thanks :)
